Save A Secret For The Moon

Thursday night, there was an almost-full moon.  Even though it was freezing, I went over to the beach to take some photos.  I know it's probably silly to think this, but I feel closer to the moon when I'm at the beach.  Seeing it above the concrete towers in my back alley just wasn't cutting it for me.  Lake Michigan is still my favorite place to go to watch the moon, whether it's rising just above the horizon, or high in the sky shining down on the waters below as the waves lap against the shore.

The full moon was so bright this December - someone told me it's the closest to the earth this month.
