Same Location But So Different

When Cadence and I were walking to meet her Dad and uncles at this Chinese restaurant, I saw this lonely cyclist leaning against the wall, and I immediately pulled out my camera. I just love how he's staring out into space. What is he doing there? Is he waiting for someone? Is he happy? Is he sad? Is he lonely? Is he in anticipation? These are some of the questions that run through my head when I "see" photos.

And this is a photo I took later in the evening. It feels so different from the photo above, maybe because it's a group of happy, well-fed people. Charles, the one on the left, is Ted's brother visitng from Seattle. There's been a lot of homebrew drinking going on this weekend, as you can imagine!
