I Need To Empty Out Some Boxes...

This adorably kitty named Zippy belongs to my friend Kim (of Think/Dance).  Cadence and I got to play with him last weekend, and that got me achin' for a kitty again.  Which brings me back to the colony of boxes that have been residing in our living room for MONTHS now.  Seriously, if I don't clear that mess soon, them boxes are gonna start claiming squatter's rights on me. But once those boxes ARE organized or recycled, Ted promised me I could have a kitty.  I know y'all are tired of hearing about me cleaning out them boxes...

I suppose if you're not a cat person or animal person, you can't understand the longing that I feel.  I don't really understand it either.  Such is love, eh?

I totally understand. I'm a cat person, but now I have two dogs. I had a kitty, but I wanted to get a dog so that I'd be forced to take it for walks twice a day (thereby walking me). My dog (Buddy) loved to harass Kitty to the point where Kitty confined herself to my closet. I finally gave Kitty to my son so she could have some freedom, but I really miss having a cat around. Go clean out those boxes!!

I feel ya. I have had cats my whole life and love, love, love them. Now I haven't had one for more than two years and so miss them. Someday I'll be in the place for another.

I totally understand. I have 3 dogs and, unfortunately, one of them is a kitty killer so I no longer can have a beautiful langorous kitty in the home. I miss having a cat -- quite a lot.
