Meet My Friend Dave

This photo just cracks me up.  It cracked me up the moment I saw it on my LCD screen.  I had snapped it at just the right moment.  That's my friend Dave with the drink.  The dude with the thumb is one of Dave's friends.  We were all at Dave and Lori's baby daughter Shelby's 1st birthday party.

Saturday was crazy busy with tons of fun stuff going on.  And then we came home at 2 am to a seriously leaky basement ceiling.  We didn't get very much sleep.  Fortunately, Cadence is at Ted's parents for the weekend, so I was able to veg out for most of today to recuperate.

I think I've watch like 6 episodes of Friday Night Lights Season 2.  I swear, that show makes me cry and laugh and I don't know why.  I don't even like football...
