Not My First Choice
I missed a photo op today. I was driving down the border between Chicago and Evanston when I was stopped at a red light behind several cars. I looked to the right and there before me was a most striking image. It was a barbershop called Correct Cuts, and through their big front window, I could see a large African-American man sitting in a chair having his hair clipped as he stared blankly out the window, bathed in a halo of bright fluorescent light. I can't explain why I was so captivated by this sight, but even now I can still see that image in my mind's eye. I think it reminded me of Edward Hopper...
So instead of that photo, I give you a shot of the Rockwell Brown Line Station. It's all I've got for today...
