Tim Lowly kindly reminded me that I had shot photos at his show @ The Empty Bottle (which Ted drummed at) on my birthday almost a month ago, the night before we skidaddled out of town for our Wormfarm getaway. I don't really have time to go through all the photos right now, but this is one I really like. That's Rachael McHan, friend of Tim Lowly and a talented artist who made drawings on stage as the band played. Each time she finished one, she'd tear out the page and let it fall to the ground, and someone in the audience would go fetch it. Eventually, there was a good number of these drawings being passed around during the show.
I like the idea of spontaneously creating art and then throwing it out there, literally. Not sure how I would do that w/ photography without using instant film...Something to think about.
