Year 2 of 826CHI Prom

Last spring, I "had the time of my life" at 826CHI's 80's prom as their photographer. The photo above is of the ladies room at Pulaski Park Fieldhouse, where the prom was held. They asked me back this year, and I'm actually typing this out on Saturday afternoon because I know I won't have time later on because tonight is ROBOT ARMAGEDDON PROM. Photos coming soon, I promise!
You may have also noticed that my domain (sarah-ji.com) is now a splash page. Yes, splash page, that's what it's called. The main reason I've been so damn busy lately is that I was working on two websites to launch for this weekend, one for the wedding photography joint venture (True Blue Photos) with my friend Justin, and another one more for my portrait/events/whatever photography biz site (Sarah-Ji Photography). Please have a looksy, but they were thrown together in a matter of days, so there may be some things missing here and there. Feed back would be great if you have any!
Ted is currently building a skee ball setup in our basement. It's for Version Fest '09's King Ludd's Midway Arcade. Opening night will have happened by the time any one reads this. He's got a loooong way to go as of Saturday 2:12 pm.
So between his skee ball adventure and my website craziness, we didn't see each other at all on our Half Decade Anniversary yesterday. Fortunately, Ted's parents took Cadence for part of the weekend, so hopefully we'll get some time together today. I am sooooo going to see a movie rated at least PG-13. At a theatre. With popcorn and Coke.

Great site, just recently found your blog and I'm loving your photos. Who do you use for your blog design? My wife wants her site (www.travelingmama.net) redesigned and we're looking into options....

I wish you were in Seattle. My son and his fiance are looking for a wedding photographer who use your style of photography. And who are affordable. I spent some time on both of your websites and they both look great. No issues that I could see.
My biggest pet peeve as I've helped research photographers for my son is that so many do not state where they are located on their websites. Your personal site does state that you are a Chicago area photographer on your About page, but I didn't notice a location/city on the wedding site. That would be my only suggestion.
Congrats, Sarah! Enjoy that movie and movie theatre popcorn!
