All Dressed Up

Happy Monday, folks.  I have been post processing wedding photos like mad while caring for my sick 4-year-old-who-will-be-turning-5-on-Thursday, planning her birthday tea party, working my day job and fighting/succumbing to my own mild illness.  Oh, and I couldn't help myself and totally obsessed over the mix cd we'll be giving out to Cadence's guests at her birthday party.  I'm currently not totally thrilled with the Mojave 3 song I picked and can't decide on the best kid appropriate Mountain Goats song, but otherwise, it's pretty much done.

I hope parents don't object to the word "dang."  The Yo La Tengo cover uses the word "damn" so I went with the original.  I inadvertently gave out a mix CD w/ a song that had the word "damn" in it at Cadence's only other birthday party (her 1 year), but luckily no one complained.  You just never know, though...

I'm totally scatterbrained right now, can you tell?

I just finished planning and executing our little guy's 2nd bday party and I went a little nuts with the CD giveaway. I edited out any questionable words with music and gunshots (it was a cowboy birthday). So much work putting together a CD, isn't it? I hope you have a great party and a sound recovery! :)
